MOOG X SÓNAR

Moog and Sónar, together in 2026 to celebrate three decades of history

Moog and Sónar join forces in 2026 to celebrate the 30th anniversary of one of Barcelona's most iconic clubs

Since opening its doors as Moog Electronic Dancing Club on 21 June 1996, this space has kept dancefloors moving every single night of the year, establishing itself as an undisputed landmark of the local scene.

Its booth has welcomed names that are now legends of electronic dance music —Laurent Garnier, Miss Kittin, Richie Hawtin— as well as virtually the entire generation of local talents who have also made history at Sónar.

Both have been key players in positioning Barcelona as a global capital of electronic music and club culture. Moog and Sónar share the same philosophy: understanding music as a language without borders, capable of connecting people, breaking down barriers and building bridges between generations.

It is no coincidence that the paths of a club that opens every night and a festival that transforms the city every June have always run in parallel, feeding off each other.

From Thursday 18 to Sunday 21 June, Moog will host a series of special nights that will extend the musical offering of Sónar Week in Barcelona.

For those who want to experience electronic music in a more intimate and personal setting, Moog will offer its historic dancefloor with an artistic programme designed jointly by Sónar and Barcelona-based DJ and producer Angel Molina. A proposal that, once again, will see electronic music take over the city from end to end.
