In the world of electronic music it is easy to be categorized into a style or label. But there are artists who escape this simplification: Headbirds is one of them. He has been cultivating a sound for more than twenty years that refuses to be classified.
Often described as a rare grandfather, DJ Headbirds combines good house vibration with syncopated touches of electro, creating a timeless atmosphere charged with the strength of techno. His productions have been punctured by major world electronics figures such as Marcel Dettmann, Laurent Garnier, Silvie Loto or Moxie.
With 8 EPs, the recent LP “Kulturhaus” and another album such as ATZAR, Headbirds has brought their music to festivals and clubs around the world: from Central Park in New York to the Maison du Moulin Rouge in Paris, passing through Sónar Hong Kong, Primavera Sound in Barcelona or Dropzone in Bangkok.
Watching it live is an experience that is not forgotten.
Uroz is one of the main resident dj since 2012 of Barcelona’s landmark Moog Club. Spinning around since 2005 he is a reknowed personality in the underground by his long dj sets because each record in his hands is mixable. Has become one of the most essential and versatile djs in Barcelona. His love for all music genres is abundantly clear in his far-reaching mixes. He is able to mix cosmic wave with current electronica, and then masterfully veer towards acid, electro and EBM, moving seamlessly into repetitive 4×4 techno rhythms, the prevalent Moog Club style. Versatility is power!
Since 2004, DJ Monraker has been soundtracking the bars, clubs and streets of Barcelona’s Gothic Quarter. His main residences and musical home are Sidecar and Villarosa at the Moog nightclub.
Drifting across genres and decades, he offers a revival journey through hits that might range from garage rock to surf, soul or even metal — depending on the venue and the vibe of the crowd. Still, at the core of every set lies one thing: the timeless classics of rock. The result? A high-energy, explosive cocktail with a single goal — to keep you dancing and shouting anthems from every golden era of rock and its many styles.
