ANDRÉS CAMPO

Andrés Campo’s already flourishing career is experiencing a rapid and dramatic rise. One of Spain’s most beloved DJs and producers, the DJ Mag Spain cover star is now a worldwide synonym for talent, quality, and exciting music; both as a DJ, including his residency at Florida 135 alongside numerous international shows, and as a producer, signing with Second State, Intec, Mood, Odd Recordings, Mindshake, and RUKUS in the last year alone. 2019 saw him expand as a record label co-founder, launching EI8HT alongside his close friend Eats Everything.

Boasting an ever-impressive festival resume (Printworks, RESISTANCE, Zurich Street Parade, Tomorrowland, Dockyard Festival ADE, Mysteryland, A Summer Story, and more), as well as appearing during Space Ibiza’s final year, he also brings his unique brand of magic to intimate club settings.

His annual all-night sold-out shows at the iconic “cathedral of techno,” Florida 135, are legendary among his growing fanbase. His residency there since 2012 has seen him host some of the giants of techno, a far cry from his early teenage years as a resident in small clubs in his hometown of Huesca.

Campo loves many forms of music and strives to find what the dance floor needs at every gig, letting that dictate what he plays—from a groovy track to an acid cut, all the way to heavy techno. Choosing the obscure over the obvious, no set by Andrés is ever the same, and he delights in surprising clubbers by playing tracks and blends drawn from the deepest depths of his record collection. With a wide array of musical influences, his love affair with music began with the Bee Gees and his mother’s vinyl collection, followed by listening to pirate radio shows and his older brother’s cassette tapes. He started as a teenage DJ playing trance and acid, taking inspiration from 90s DJ heroes, the sounds of Coliseum, and his current residency at Florida 135.

Having made a name for himself through high-energy performances, his release catalog is eminent. In early 2019, he debuted on Mindshake with the thunderous ‘Dashit’ EP, which included a remix by Eats Everything, going on to build an impressive roster of releases on Second State, Intec, RUKUS, Mood, and Phobiq. Andrés has also released several EPs for Ramiro López’s Odd Recordings, including the sensational tracks “Pachamama” and “Vamped,” which were pivotal in bringing him to international acclaim.

Beyond his unquestionable prowess as a music producer and DJ, Andrés Campo is an engaging, fun, and open-hearted character who loves connecting with the crowd, evoking their warmth and affection (though if anyone is thinking of buying him dinner or a beer, make it gluten-free, please). Andrés draws massive crowds to the dance floor, and his followers are true die-hard fans.

His immediate future includes a remix for Dense & Pika on Kneaded Pains, bigger gigs, and further releases for EI8HT, alongside world domination—though he prefers to keep that last one under wraps for now.
