Joanna Dark
Joanna Molina, better known as Joana Dark, is an artist and DJ based in Barcelona. A professional choreographer and dancer for over 20 years, she has been involved in music at a professional level since a young age. Her versatility as a DJ allows her to navigate with ease through various subgenres of techno such as peak time techno, old school techno, or melodic techno, among others. Among her most notable works is her performance at Space Ibiza in 2011, where she created the entire setup for her show “Burlesque”. Named “Revelation Artist” in 2020, her live streams and podcasts have garnered thousands of views and listens, a fact not overlooked by promoters and clubs in Catalonia. This has allowed her to conquer the underground scene of Barcelona in recent years, becoming one of the regular DJs at clubs such as Moog, Club 5, No Name No Addre, Entropía, Fresh, Secret, Melodic Party, M7Club, and Fiestas Tech Ben. It’s worth noting that she has also played alongside renowned Spanish DJs such as Oscar Escapa or Lander B and has collaborated with various radio stations, both nationally and internationally, even hosting her own techno program “Dark Drawer” on In 2theroom radio.
