Kosmos is not a dj that leaves indifferent. Pioneer of electronic music in Spain, his importance in the evolution of the club culture of this country is unquestionable, being not only an elite DJ, but also an activist. Kosmos is one of the most requested DJ’s in the best clubs and festivals, both nationally and internationally, maintaining among this frenetic activity three crucial residencies, Nitsa Club, Bass Bunny, both in Apolo and Macarena Club. Behind the decks his style is eclectic and elegant. Drawing from influences ranging from techno to house, breaks and electro, he has perfected an exciting and richly nuanced style. But Kosmos goes beyond labels, shaping a personal and irresistible sound on the dancefloor that satisfies the most demanding techno lovers as well as the latest generation of club kids.

As a producer he has been part of several projects. Majestic, releasing on labels such as D.Press and Palace. He is also part of the cult project Vanguard, a formation that in the late 90’s laid the foundations of the new Spanish electronic music and remixed names like Fangoria, Le Mans, Esclarecidos, Los Sencillos or Stereoceano among others. He is currently working with OddZero, under the name Shadow Traxx.

He has managed the labels Cosmos, Palace, Tracy Recordings and Tempesta Music.

In turn, since September 2016, he directs and presents the weekly radio show, specialized in electronic music “303” along with Ginebra, on Betevé.

Born in Barcelona, Manel Ruiz Lens made his debut as DJ Ebola in 1997 behind the decks of the mythical Nitsa club, just as the Murmurtownlagloria collective switched to the Apolo theatre. He was resident DJ for the next six years together with Fra, Borja and Pelucas, at the Moviedisco itinerant club, sharing the booth with many of the European and American artists who are now leading figures for the new generations: Jeff Mills, Carl Craig, John Aquaviva, L.F.O. and many more. Throughout his sessions, this DJ embraces everything from Ghetto House to Acid House, not forgetting IDM, as he demonstrates every night at the Moog, where he has now established his residence.
