Dj Kosmos is not a dj who goes unnoticed. A pioneer of electronic music in Spain, his impact on the evolution of the country’s club culture is undeniable: he is not only an elite dj but also a true activist. Kosmos is one of the most in-demand dj’s at top clubs and festivals, both nationally and internationally, while maintaining key residencies such as Nitsa Club at Apolo and Macarena Club, and regularly performing across Barcelona’s most respected venues.
Behind the decks, his style is eclectic and elegant. Drawing from influences that range from techno to house, breaks and electro, he has crafted an exciting, detail-rich sound. Even so, Kosmos goes far beyond labels, shaping a personal and irresistible sonic identity that resonates with both demanding techno aficionados and the new generation of club kids.
As a producer, he has taken part in several projects. Majestic, alongside Ginebra, released music on labels such as D.Press and Palace in the early 2000s, leaning toward tech house. He is also part of the cult project Vanguard, a group that in the late 90s laid the foundations for the new Spanish electronic scene and remixed artists such as Fangoria, Le Mans, Esclarecidos, Los Sencillos and Stereoceano, among others. In recent years he has produced under the name Shadow Traxx, and he is now preparing several EPs under his own name together with Groovycosta on My Techno Weighs A Ton. He has co-directed the labels Cosmos, Palace, Tracy Recordings and Tempesta Music.
Since September 2016, he also directs and hosts the weekly electronic music radio show “303” with Ginebra on Betevé. Additionally, he collaborates as an A&R for the Finnish label My Techno Weighs A Ton, with which he regularly tours some of the best clubs in the European circuit.
