Kerrie, Irish-born and Manchester-based, is a multidisciplinary artist and resident DJ at Tresor Berlin. She is a live performer, producer, DJ, and label head of Dark Machine Funk. Having garnered a rich musical education through her residency and tenure at Eastern Bloc—one of the UK’s most respected record shops—Kerrie’s in-depth knowledge and unwavering dedication shine through her notable back catalogue and her bold, unforgiving DJ and live sets.
After honing her craft for over a decade, Kerrie reached a major milestone in early 2024 when she was announced as a Tresor resident. Beyond her regular performances at the iconic Berlin institution, she represents the club at showcases worldwide. Her schedule has been shaped by appearances at celebrated venues such as Berghain, fabric, FOLD, and Elsewhere NYC, as well as festival bookings including Freedom Medellin, Freerotation, Drift, and Basilar.
First learning to mix on her brother’s turntables in the early 2000s, it was in 2009 that Kerrie invested in her own setup and began building an extensive record collection. Her crates cover everything from ambient and EBM to acid and electro, though techno remains her core genre. Kerrie delivers raw, powerful moods, as heard in her mixes for Reclaim Your City, Bassiani, and Crack, where she masterfully blends high-energy UK, Detroit, and European techno from the 90s and 00s. She frequently weaves broken elements into her sets, deconstructing the 4/4 groove at the perfect moment to maintain momentum. Renowned for their trippy motifs and high dancefloor impact, her live sets are a force to be reckoned with; her 2019 Freerotation debut remains one of the festival’s most talked-about performances. Following acclaimed releases on labels like Don’t Be Afraid, Cultivated Electronics, and Symbolism, Kerrie launched her own imprint, Dark Machine Funk [DMF], in 2020.
More than a decade after his initial foray into Barcelona’s underground scene, Kevin Schwantz has maintained his vision of electronic music as a fuel for social change. He recently launched his own label, Tourian Records. Simultaneously, Serkin remains deeply involved in managing and organizing events for the Technodrome Barcelona collective, which he has represented since 2009. Through this project, he fights against all odds to provide a musical alternative for the city, strictly guided by his ideals and principles. Finally, alongside his long-term partners, he directs and manages Celobert, a series of events focused on supporting the electronic music scene.
