A key piece in the puzzle of Spanish electronic dance music, UNDO has long been a constant figure in Barcelona and beyond. Now based away from the city on the beautiful Costa Brava, but still a regular presence at its many clubs and festivals, UNDO, alias Gabriel Berlanga, continues to impress with his fiercely personal take on electronic and club music. UNDO’s music and approach are rooted in melody and suffused with a distinctly European sensibility. In Barcelona, when he was young, Berlanga enjoyed club nights where open-minded djs fused all the musical currents coming from the underground. As a harder sound spread across Spain, Berlanga stayed true to the energy established in his early musical experiences dancing in clubs and playing in bands, increasingly mastering his craft. A discreet approach based on friends and community remains at the core of Undo’s work with Factor City, his record label, which has been playing on dance floors since 2003; an enthusiastic reflection of Gabriel’s tastes with over 70 references, and of his own music which he has also released on other labels such as Correspondant, Roam, Nein, La Dame Noir, Darkroom Dubs, Melodize or My Favourite Robot, among others. He has also done remixes for Miss Kittin, Fairmont, Dj Hell, Dorian or Cabaret Nocturne, to name a few. In the last year he has started a new and promising project with Casiowaves. Resident since his beginnings at the legendary Razzmatazz in Barcelona, UNDO’s sets create a unique energy. Thousands of clubbers have been enlightened by his numerous sets around the world: Sonar, FIB, Lethargy, Rework, Nuits Sonores, Paradigm or Club to Club Festivals and renowned clubs such as Panorama Bar, Fabric, Rex, Fuse, Metro, Kaputt or Mn Roy.

Born in Barcelona, Manel Ruiz Lens made his debut as DJ Ebola in 1997 behind the decks of the mythical Nitsa club, just as the Murmurtownlagloria collective switched to the Apolo theatre. He was resident DJ for the next six years together with Fra, Borja and Pelucas, at the Moviedisco itinerant club, sharing the booth with many of the European and American artists who are now leading figures for the new generations: Jeff Mills, Carl Craig, John Aquaviva, L.F.O. and many more. Throughout his sessions, this DJ embraces everything from Ghetto House to Acid House, not forgetting IDM, as he demonstrates every night at the Moog, where he has now established his residence.
