Techno

Tensal is the name of the solo project that Héctor Sandoval (50% of Exium, Komatssu, Selección Natural) has created to accommodate his more cyclical and modern vision of Techno in which he combines different rhythms and textures.
After a good handful of works released on his own label, he has recorded for some of the best labels on the planet such as Mord, Modularz, Arcing Seas, Polegroup or Soma, where he released his first Lp in 2018.
He has also collaborated on a multitude of remixes with artists such as Slam, Eléctric Indigo, Envoy, Umwelt, Mike Parker, Pangaea, Pessimist or Shited, among others.
His works have received the unanimous support of the scene and his tracks are common in the soundtrack of the best clubs on the planet.
In his sessions as a DJ, Tensal explores all the facets of techno by alternating different textures and intensities that are mainly nourished by his own material. A journey through the present that has led him to act in more than 70 countries in different parts of the world.

MEN arrived in Barcelona a few years ago after hitting all the clubs in his native Bay of Biscay (La Real, Locomotive, Whipporwill…), where he began to give war to the decks since the early 90s. After settling next to the Mediterranean he began to win a well-deserved name with his sessions until he was considered one of the best exponents of local techno. Serious techno, with pressurized energy and relentless hype, but in which the influence of many other styles is noticeable, such as industrial sound, Detroit hard funk or the most danceable IDM. Waiting for him to decide to publish his own material, which seems to be one of his next goals, a MEN session is a safe bet.

He began as a youngster, seduced by what they called “machine music”, and he ended up as resident DJ at one of the great European temples of electronic music – the Moog – as well as DJing in clubs like Florida 135, Fabrik and The Loft. Olmos is basically known for sessions that are vibrant, energetic and fun. The spirit of the Moog comes to the Plaça Reial.
