Miracle Showcase: Fernando Lagreca + David Asko

Fernando Lagreca

Uruguayan-born but Spanish-adopted, Fernando Lagreca has been based in Barcelona since the early 2000s. He is one of the most solid analog-gear enthusiasts when it comes to composing and performing live sets in Southern Europe. A true multitasker, Lagreca runs Miracle MGMT agency, his own Beautiful Accident label, and conducts courses and masterclasses. Now focusing on his career as a music producer, Fernando has released numerous tracks, EPs, and LPs, recently signing to labels like Tragedie, Sincopat, Renaissance, Nein Records, and Chrom Recordings, as well as his own Beautiful Accident label. He has frequently charted in Beatport’s top 100 in genres like Melodic Techno, Peak Time Techno, and Indie Dance. Lagreca is also an exceptional live performer of techno and electronic music, having left his mark on festivals such as Sonar, ADE, and BIME, as well as clubs and events around the world: Tanzhaus West (Frankfurt), Ritter Butzke (Berlin), Birgit und Bier (Berlin), Fundbureau (Hamburg), Club NL (Amsterdam), Power Lunches (London), Laut (Barcelona), Razzmatazz (Barcelona), Plastic (Belgrade), RX (Istanbul), Sumaland (Istanbul), Uniclub (Buenos Aires), Metrónomo (Santiago de Chile), Nobo Experience (Mumbai), Magique (Bangalore), and more.

+ David Asko

Witness and actor in the rise of the techno movement, from the underground backroom parties with modest, defective sound systems in the early 90s to the height of electronic music’s supremacy, David Asko is widely recognized as one of the most experienced DJs in the French underground scene. Having begun his journey behind the decks nearly 27 years ago, he has shared line-ups with the best: Dax J, Rebekah, Paula Temple, Ben Klock, Jeff Mills, Luke Slater, I Hate Models, Marcel Dettmann, Laurent Garnier, and many more. These collaborations serve as a testament not only to his talent but to how warmly he has been embraced by the techno community in France and across Europe. His performances leave a lasting impression, with his energy and stage presence making him a true crowd-pleaser, galvanizing audiences wherever he plays.

2021 was a pivotal year for David, with multiple new projects. His 2017 release Techno Therapy on A-Traction Records has now garnered more than 100k plays on SoundCloud. A new edition was released in 2021, featuring remixes from Axel Picodot, Jacidorex, Sterling Moss, and La Fraicheur. He also released a fresh EBM/Rave Industrial track called “Die Raving” on D.Carbone’s label, Carbone Records, and another EP on Stay Up Forever with Jacidorex. In January 2022, David dropped an EP on the renowned Dutch label Obscuur Records, with remixes by Valysin, Darzack, and D.Carbone. His fast techno EP, Black Sky, was released on Jacidorex’s label in November 2022.

2023 promises to be a wild ride for David. He recently released the EP Dream on A-Traction Records (including remixes by Jusai and Gary Beck), and a massive remix for Ayats & Thorvald was released in April 2023, also on A-Traction Records.

David is a monthly resident at SLALOM Club in Lille (France), following eight years of residency at Magazine Club Lille. He is also the founder of the famous French queer TBM (Techno Body Music) event, which brings together thousands of fans.
