Khat
Francesc Fonoll, also known as Khat, is a music producer, composer, educator, and DJ. As a DJ, he has over 20 years of experience, having played both as a resident DJ and a guest at both national and international levels. He has performed in venues and festivals such as Input, Florida 135, Moog, Row14, and Fort Festival, where, during its first edition, he was invited to play on the Drumcode stage, a label owned by Swedish artist Adam Beyer. Additionally, he has shared the stage with artists like Jeff Mills, Derrick May, Joseph Capriati, and Tale of Us, among many others. As a producer, his journey began without specific goals, experimenting with early trackers like Fast Tracker II. However, it wasn’t until 2003 that he began to delve deeper into music production through a still-basic version of the Swedish software Reason. In 2004, he transitioned to Ableton Live, a DAW in which he continues to compose today, primarily in Techno and Electro. He has released productions on both national and international labels, distributed in both physical and digital formats, with support from artists such as Carl Craig, 2000 and One, Richie Hawtin, and Jay Lumen. Parallel to this, he has developed his skills as a soundtrack composer, working on projects for national and international production companies in documentaries and short films, some of which have been finalists for best soundtrack at various festivals. As an educator, he began his journey in 2011, giving private lessons in his studio, but it wasn’t until 2016 that he joined the team at the Barcelona-based academy Plastic. Currently, in addition to designing production courses, he serves as a tutor and instructor and coordinates the music production courses at the various centers Plastic operates throughout Spain.

For more than 10 years, Kanedo has been immersed in the electronic club culture from various perspectives. As an experienced DJ, producer, and label owner, he has hosted residencies at iconic Barcelona nightclubs and developed technology as part of Pioneer DJ’s product planning team. He has gained extensive knowledge about the relationship between a DJ, the dancefloor, and technology. As a club DJ, he currently holds one of the longest-running weekly residencies in the city, ongoing for over 9 years. Thanks to his broad musical background, he delivers an effective set that engages the crowd each week, taking them on a journey from smooth Deep House with Dub influences to more dancefloor-oriented tracks with Techno, House, or Disco heritage.

Barcelona-based DJ, enamored with the underground sounds of the 80s. With a lifetime dedicated to music and electronics, he is currently responsible for the showroom of the leading manufacturer in stage technology, Adam Hall. A regular at Moog since 2004, he delights the audience with his house, electro, indie, and techno rhythms, always with his unique perspective. On this occasion, he is teaming up with Khat and Kanedo. An evening surrounded by great people and, above all, great music.
