In the electronic music world, it’s easy to fall into a specific style or be boxed into a label. Yet some artists defy such simplifications—Headbirds is one of them. For over two decades, they’ve been cultivating a sound that refuses to be pinned down.

Often described as a rara avis, Headbirds draws the uplifting energy of house and blends it with syncopated electro touches, creating a timeless atmosphere charged with the intensity of techno. Their tracks have been played by electronic heavyweights such as Marcel Dettmann, Laurent Garnier, Silvie Loto, and Moxie.

With 8 EPs, the recent LP “Kulturhaus”, and another full-length project like ATZAR, Headbirds has brought their music to festivals, clubs, and parties across the globe—from Central Park in New York to the Maison du Moulin Rouge in Paris, and from Sónar Hong Kong to Primavera Sound in Barcelona or Dropzone in Bangkok.

Javi Gon (Moog Club)

Techno / Electro / Trance / Progressive

Barcelona-born DJ and selector with a career deeply rooted in the local electronic scene. A MOOG Club resident since 2006, his style blends techno, electro, and trance with refined technique and a strong passion for vinyl. Founder of projects like LUXON, INSOMNI.BCN, and ENTROPIA, he has played across many key venues in Catalonia. In 2023, he officially returned as a MOOG resident, reaffirming his dedication to the underground scene.
