Radical Softness, a name that, at first glance, seems controversial and yet has a much deeper meaning: being a somewhat radical person when it comes to responding to values such as the right to self-expression, the settlement of safer spaces and the visibility of FLINTA on the scene. On the other hand, being a radical person stands and falls with the softest part of any human being: the inner self. Without emotion and passion, there will never be the radicalness and drive for change that is needed. Radical Softness champions change with all of its actions, its activism, its positivity and its drive. On the musical side of the coin, Radical Softness immediately evokes a sense of warmth and strength at the same time, which again represents the artistic direction of the name itself. Powerful rhythmic patterns go hand in hand with soft synthesizers, together on a mission that invites dancers to reach out to the subconscious in an almost therapeutic way. Radical Softness presents you with repetition as a means to escape from everyday sorrows, to feel again and gain a few hours of freedom from a seemingly fast-paced and cold outside world. Being a music lover is probably the attribute that unites all DJs, but where it really differs is in the interest to delve beyond scratching the surface. Radical Softness’ desire to DJ began as early as 2013 unconsciously, when she started working at a local bar, where she quickly became the music playlist manager. This marks the beginning of following a path into a new universe and digging into artists’ entire discographies. Her move to Berlin in 2015 further shaped her vision of music. Back then, Radical Softness was already asking people in his circle to teach him how to DJ, but he never felt welcome enough to take the plunge. In 2019, as luck would have it, the switch was turned on, she got behind the decks, quickly gained recognition, especially through her sets at HÖR Berlin and combined her deep collection of music with the ability to quickly understand how DJing works from the core. Even I all that said, what we hear right now, is only the beginning of what Radical Softness has to offer.

He began as a youngster, seduced by what they called “machine music”, and he ended up as resident DJ at one of the great European temples of electronic music – the Moog – as well as DJing in clubs like Florida 135, Fabrik and The Loft. Olmos is basically known for sessions that are vibrant, energetic and fun. The spirit of the Moog comes to the Plaça Reial.
