Switch Pocket Club is, as the name suggests, a pocket club. But physically small doesn’t mean big things don’t happen. Almost 10 years have positioned the place in the Gràcia neighborhood as a point of reference for electronics in the city and a place of worship for the underground scene. Captained by Deckard, DJ with 27 years of experience, a classic of the Barcelona scene who likes to move between different genres, be it house, techno, disco, industrial. He will perform at the Moog together with Adrian Marth, producer and head of the Italo Moderni label. This badaloní has just landed from playing at HÖR radio and Sisyphos in Berlin where he already did a live show at the prestigious Berghain/Panorama Bar last June, becoming one of Spain’s emerging electronica artists. A night full of EBM, New Beat and Italo Disco influences awaits us, all mixed with a dose of avant-garde electronica.

Uroz may be a supercool resident DJ at Barcelona’s Moog but he works techno like a Swiss craftsman in search of a clock with a 4/4 time signature and hands that never run slow despite the passing years. There are people we can call a thoroughbred DJs – artists “born to the beat,” who know how to interpret what is happening in every corner of the room and have no doubt about which way to go to keep the audience moving together in the same direction. Uroz is one of these. His techno, distilled through experience and built up strongly by the demanding daily rhythm of working a resident, fits into a panorama that covers all kinds of music: indie, acid house, EBM, post-punk, the other kind of electronica and even the dub version of the B-side of some forgettable record.
