Walking on the dark side of electronica. Vinyl collector since 1982. Old School EBM, Techno Pop, Industrial, Acid, Techno, Electro, etc are some of the styles he usually conjugates in his sessions.

Ismael Martinez is a reference in electronic music and cyberpunk art in Spain. Designer, musician, producer and owner of his own brand Annexia T-Shirts. His personal and exclusive designs can be found displayed in his store, located in the cultural and artistic center of Barcelona: the Raval.

Born in Barcelona, from a very young age he begins to dive into the depths of electronic music. His head and his shelves hold a vast knowledge that would not fit in a million books.

He has released remixes for heavyweights of European electronic music and has managed to rub shoulders with the best of electronic music. He has collaborated in the organization of the SÓNAR festival for more than 8 years and his sessions have shone in legendary clubs such as Moog, BeCool, KGB, Neon or Ombra Festival.

Diego Menvielle (Annexia Beat, BCN)

Born in the city of Buenos Aires, along with his parents he discovered the porteño nightlife of the 80’s and in it, he was acquiring very varied musical influences. His approach to radio began at the age of twelve, taking his first steps in the pre and production of two programs, one daily and one weekly.

Three years later, he took control of the air, taking a step towards the faders and potentiometers, making the sound space of different stations his own. In 1996 he arrives at a large format radio station and discovers innovative sounds from the USA and mainly from Europe, marking electronic music in his DNA forever and begins the passion for vinyl and the art of mixing genres such as House, Deep House, Techno, Progressive, Trance and Goa Trance.

He embarks on the road to Europe and lands in the magnificent city of Barcelona, where he starts sessions as a resident in several pubs in the city, with a particular and distinguished style where the nuances change on the environment and the psychological practice of the track, the atmosphere and the vibe. He begins a residency with a more anarchic and dark profile, giving free rein to 5hs sessions mixing sounds of New Wave, Industrial, Gothic, EBM and Sinthy-Pop. Dominated by the restlessness and to increase his previous knowledge, he begins studies on production, recording and creation of electronic music; and undertakes the career of Audio Engineering, where he develops in a fluid way with an environment already known since always. With his constant eye on the decks and embarking on several solo and joint projects in Barcelona and its surroundings; Pubs, clubs, private parties and Afters have impregnated his sounds and style. Innate ear towards the pleasure of sound quality and enjoyment.

Uroz may be a supercool resident DJ at Barcelona’s Moog but he works techno like a Swiss craftsman in search of a clock with a 4/4 time signature and hands that never run slow despite the passing years. There are people we can call a thoroughbred DJs – artists “born to the beat,” who know how to interpret what is happening in every corner of the room and have no doubt about which way to go to keep the audience moving together in the same direction. Uroz is one of these. His techno, distilled through experience and built up strongly by the demanding daily rhythm of working a resident, fits into a panorama that covers all kinds of music: indie, acid house, EBM, post-punk, the other kind of electronica and even the dub version of the B-side of some forgettable record. Because a DJ does not live by techno alone, although the rest of us would happily live off the propositions he keeps in that suitcase of his.
